"I could probably write a full essay about how much I like this knife, but I'll try to keep it short and sweet. I've been carrying my Roadhouse (stonewashed with serrations) since March this year over in the middle east. Over this time I've learned to trust it completely and rely on it heavily for the tasks a Joe is faced with day to day. While many knives might be adequate the Roadhouse excels at slicing and making quick cuts do it it's blade shape...it just seems to glide effortlessly through the entire cut. There's plenty of belly on the blade to make any kind of cut an easy one. Also with the addition of the serrations I'm able to rip through thicker material like heavy rope, and stubborn zip ties that would take much longer with lesser knives. The G10 grips are comfortable in the hand and give great grip. This is especially good when your hands are sweaty (due to the 120* heat) or potentially covered in some slick or oily substance. Finally, like all Emersons, the Wave feature gives me the confidence that under any situation I can have the blade deployed and ready to use in under a second without having to use a second hand or change my grip on the knife. All in all this is a solid 'do all' pocket knife that I would highly recommend to anyone going into harms way.
